Il sistema è costituito da componenti software e hardware che monitorano l'intero processo di produzione dei prodotti del tabacco su base continuativa e fornisce una visibilità completa della produzione. Accevo collega le apparecchiature per il tabacco ad alta velocità a un livello di dati comune, combinando i segnali del PLC con gli input dell'operatore per produrre eventi affidabili e in tempo reale per l'OEE, le microfermate e i flussi di lavoro in officina. Il lavoro di connettività di Accevo negli impianti di tabacco inizia sulla linea, non nel livello di reporting. L'obiettivo è quello di acquisire gli stati delle macchine e i contatori chiave direttamente dall'automazione, per poi standardizzarli in eventi di produzione coerenti che possano essere confrontati tra diversi tipi di macchine e linee.

Collegamento al livello di automazione (PLC + dispositivi)
Accevo connects to machines through PLC drivers, industrial communication protocols, and dedicated data acquisition modules, depending on what the line supports. This enables readouts such as machine state, speed, cycle/quantity counters, defect counters, and selected process parameters (for example weight, pressure, temperature, force).
Utilizzare dispositivi edge quando necessario (elaborazione vicino alla macchina)
In tobacco environments with mixed machine parks and high-speed equipment, Accevo uses edge hardware (e.g. MOXA) to compute and preprocess data at machine level before it is sent upstream. This approach reduces latency, improves robustness, and supports consistent event creation even when machines expose different signals.
Buffering e resilienza contro le cadute di rete
Where the connection to the server is unstable or intermittent, Accevo’s connectivity layer can buffer data for a defined period. That prevents gaps in downtime and quantity history, which is critical when micro-stops and short losses matter.

Not everything is available from PLCs (especially reasons, activities, and contextual actions). Accevo supplements machine signals with operator input via the operator panel, where the operator can record activities, call a technician, and follow the production process. This closes the loop between “what happened” (signals) and “why it happened” (human context).

Raw signals are translated into events such as run / stop / micro-stop, counts, speeds, and alarms. The outcome is a data foundation that can feed performance monitoring and micro-stop analytics across a diverse machine landscape.
